Try this now!  Stand with your back against the wall and notice which parts of your body touch. Do the calves touch? The buttocks? Is there a curve in the low back? Do the shoulder blades touch? What about your head? If your head touches – does your chin lift up or is it level? This simple test will show if your posture is “erect” so that it supports you with ease to go about your daily activities.

If your head struggles to touch with effort or force, then re-training your muscles and loosening your tension is what you need. The “erector” muscles run along your spine and help to keep your spine … erect!  Here are a few movements everyone can do to strengthen the erectors!
