Evelyn (not her real name), is in her mid 70’s and comes to the Gentle Yoga classes at our studio.  She has arthritis in her knees, so she uses a thick blanket when she kneels.  And she moves slowly getting up and down from the floor.  But, she is all smiles these days because she just got her DEXA bone scan  scores back!

The DEXA T scores are the measurements of your bone health.  Diagnosed with Osteopenia in 2012, Evelyn committed to try Gentle Yoga to strengthen her bones and goes twice a week.  Her 2014 DEXA T scores show improved bone strength in her lumbar (low spine) and femur (upper leg bone)!
